About the foundation

A family's promise to carry on a mother's care

Our mission

To honor the legacy of a beloved mother by empowering vulnerable youth, widows and the less privileged through education, skills development, economic opportunity, and compassionate support, enabling them to build independent and dignified lives.

Who we are

The Ezinne Regina Okeigbo Foundation was founded by her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Nnenna Enyinna-Okeigbo, and is registered in Nigeria. We serve vulnerable youth, widows and the less privileged, the people Ezinne Regina Okeigbo spent her own life helping. Read her story.

We were founded in 2026 and are based in Itu Olokoro, Umuahia South Local Government Area, Abia State, the community she called home. Our work is open to vulnerable youth, widows and the less privileged anywhere in Nigeria.

Our values

Love

We serve people the way a mother would: personally, and without conditions.

Compassion

We meet people where they are and protect their dignity.

Impact

We measure our work by lives that become more independent.
